Women's Discipleship

A group of women who are seeking to know the Lord in a deeper way meet monthly to pray, listen to teachings and share their faith lives. This group has been in existence since 1988. They meet in each others homes where one woman will volunteer to be the hostess for that monthly meeting. Their format usually begins with intercessory prayer, a short presentation on a particular topic, faith sharing, and a social (snack) time.

The "Prayer Network" of our parish emerged from this group. Women also do works of charity such as making meals for someone who has just come home from the hospital, providing transportation for doctor's appointments. They also are responsible for preparing the reception after the Confirmation Mass and help out with the Seder Supper as well. We also attend an annual retreat together.
